Arburg has named Mario Rodriguez Navarro as the new managing director, effective 18 July, of its branch Querétaro, Mexico, the company has announced. He succeeds Guillermo Fasterling, who had run the location since in opened in 2008, and grew the subsidiary into the successful enterprise it is today.
Mario Rodriguez Navarro holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems Engineering and a master’s in Business Administration. He subsequently accumulated years of management, sales, project and technical experience in the fields of robotics and automation, and is well acquainted with plastics processing technologies.
Mexico is a market with great potential for Arburg. The entire region is dominated by the automotive and medical technology sectors, but the packaging industry is fast catching up. In this market, too, interest in the possibilities offered by digitalisation and connective technology is growing. These are both areas in which Arburg’s portfolio can provide comprehensive solutions.
At the Mexican branch, well-trained service technicians, a spare parts warehouse, a showroom and training courses are also all available.
