With the publication of its 2020 Sustainability Report, Black Forest-headquartered injection moulding machine manufacturer Arburg is, for the first time, offering insight into the all-round sustainability performance of the company over the long term.
The report comprehensively details the injection moulding machinery manufacturer’s efforts and actions regarding both environmental protection and resources conservation as well as the health, wellbeing and safety of its employees, stakeholders and home region.
“Environmental protection and resource conservation have always been of paramount importance to Arburg, but responsibility towards employees has also always been an integral part of the company's business activities,” said Christoph Schumacher, head of Marketing and Corporate Communications. “Arburg is now presenting all of this consistently to the outside world with its Sustainability Report.”
In keeping with these aims, the company has also chosen not to produce the report in print, but in digital, interactive form only. It is available to click through on the Arburg website. Written in plain, accessible language, the report is generously illustrated with display charts and clickable additional information.
The Sustainability Report follows the structure of the WIN Charter, the sustainability management system of the state of Baden-Württemberg, which also includes a voluntary commitment to sustainability.
The report, said Arburg, will be published annually in the future.
