LyondellBasell Industries is acquiring the Italian compounder Mepol Group for an undisclosed price. Mepol Group, a manufacturer of recycled, high-performing technical compounds operates in Italy and Poland. Companies belonging to the Group are Mepol S.r.l. and its subsidiaries Polar S.r.l. and Industrial Technology Investments Poland Sp.z.o.o.
Mepol makes recycled, high-performing technical compounds, officials with LyondellBasell in Dallas said in a news release. It operates compounding plants in Italy and Poland.
